EEV Tour/Design, PR, InteractiveLivemercial, the preeminent leader in the direct response marketing industry, needed to make a statement at the 2009 eRetailer Summit in Miami. But, they were late to the party, without a formal sponsorship or exhibit booth at the tradeshow.
The A Few Good Marketers team created and branded a new social media platform for Livemercial, called the Social Response Pack, and introduced the product at the eRetailer Summit in bold and dramatic fashion.
“Crash the Party!” With A Few Good Marketers help, Livemercial made a huge impression with conference attendees at every turn. As attendees made their way to the hotel, a fleet of limousines, in Livemercial livery, lined the hotel drive waiting to transport clients, guests and VIPs. In the lobby, Livemercial human billboards touting the latest social media facts and figures. Special clients and VIPs were provided with an iPod Touch, customized with Livemercial branding and Livemercial Social Response Pack tools to keep guests informed of conference and Livemercial happenings. Finally, live “infomercials” with famous pitchmen Billy Mays and Anthony Sullivan demonstrating two of the most popular Livemercial clients – the Omni DualSaw and ZorbEEZ towel –– dramatically illustrated that Livemercial is a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
With A Few Good Marketers, Livemercial had one of the most successful tradeshows in their history … without any official sponsorship or exhibit space. The activation at the eRetailer Summit led to background briefings with CNBC and the Discovery Channel. The Livemercial team signed a record 40 client contracts, generated 100 leads, and unique visitors to their Website jumped 13 percent in the month following the tradeshow. Possibly the most significant, the entire industry was once again talking about Livemercial.

The Villages of Detroit is a community development corporation that was formed to support business activity and investment in 6 small villages just 3 miles from downtown Detroit. The organization also seeks to increase residency.
Thevillagesofdetroit.com had been a static site that, while adequately describing the different communities, needed to be updated to allow members to edit content and promote programs and events in the community.
A Few Good Marketers designed a site that expanded on the information for the villages while focusing on the purpose of the organization: To increase business activity and residency. The new site was designed to be fully editable by members of the group using WordPress, and included a fully funtional blog for members and select users to quickly and easily promote events and programs.
The Villages of Detroit now have an easily navigable site with specific direction for visitors, and can be used to push and promote specific and targeted content.

Vista Maria is Michigan’s largest private not-for-profit child welfare agency for girls and their families. They needed complete invitation and registration materials for their signature summer fund raiser, Women FORE! Women, a golf outing.
A Few Good Marketers designed exciting and colorful save-the-dates and invitiations sent out to 600 of Southeast Michigan’s leadership.
“We love the design and execution of our invitation materials from A Few Good Marketers. They have made our event even more special, and we truly appreciate their effort, dedication and results!”

Yoga In The Woods wanted to refresh their brand image and build a website that was easy to update and portrayed their appreciation for the practice of yoga. They also sought to acquire new students through content that invited participants from all walks of life. The website is a primary point of business for Yoga In The Woods (situated in a rural, North Oakland county community), and needed the ability for students to sign up for courses, purchase merchandise and transact online.
A Few Good Marketers redesigned the logo and color palate for Yoga In The Woods and launched the new site on a content management system (CMS). In addition, the site was launched with two critical tools for small business owners of time-based services—a calendar/scheduling tool connected to an ecommerce platform. So students can sign up for courses and pay for them prior to attending. Yoga In The Woods also offers branded merchandise and supplies via their online storefront—and connects to affiliate yoga merchants for additional products.
Yoga is based on the practice of harmonizing systems—and we think Yoga In The Woods has done just that with their online experience.
“I’m excited about the new image my website portrays and I’m sure it will bring in new clients. I will turn to AFGM for future marketing support—they’ve been a terrific partner”
Maureen Bosker RN, Owner, Yoga In The Woods
